The Power of Volunteering
Volunteers are at the heart of the North Carolina West District. Through the time, talents, and dedication of our Optimist members and community partners, our clubs support programs and activities that make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people. Throughout the year, members organize events, support youth organizations, provide resources, and lend a helping hand where their communities need it most.
By giving their time and building positive relationships with youth, our members help create experiences that encourage, support, and inspire. Many future Optimists first experience the spirit of service through programs they encounter as young people.
